Dr. Michael Feinberg is a graduate of New York University in New York City. He received his optometry education at the New Engand College of Optometry in Boston, receiving his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1977. After graduation Dr. Feinberg, while in private pratice, took a year and a half long course in Children’s Vision at the Gesell Institute for Child Development in New Haven, CT. He was previously a clinical instructor at the New England College of Optometry, Director of the eye clinic at the Northampton Health Center, and a staff optometrist at a large nursing home practice.
Dr. Feinberg is fully licensed to practice optometry in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. In addition to general practice, he specializes in hard to fit contact lenses for astigmatism, multifocals, post RK, post Lasik, post corneal transplants and keratoconus. He also works with children’s vision and people with binocular coordination problems.
He is a member of the Massachusetts Society of Optometrists, the American Optometric Association, and a candidate to the Amherican Academy of Optometry.
